Light rainfall in coastal districts

Both Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts received light drizzle throughout the day on Sunday. As dark clouds covered the horizon since the afternoon, both the districts experienced darkness since early evening.

Subrahmanya, Kadaba, Sullia, Puttur, Uppinangady, Belthangady, Ullal, Talapady, Surathkal, Mulki of South Canara district as well as Manipal, Sathekatte, Udupi city, Kundapur and Karkala of Udupi district received light drizzling since the afternoon. Udupi however, got light but continuous drizzle from 2pm to 5pm.
This brought temporary relief to dust problem on the road.
