Heavy rains in Mangalore

Continues heavy rain reported at different parts of South Canara District on Monday night and Tuesday morning. On Tuesday morning, a branch of a tree fell on the house of Harish in Vitla and the house was partially damaged. Rain occurred in the city areas of Mangalore, Surathkal, Mulki, Kinnigoli, Bajpe, Bantwal, Puttur, Sullia, Belthangady, Moodubidri and in other areas. It was just drizzling in Puttur. A thunderstorm was reported at Moodubidre. It heavily rained in various places till Tuesday afternoon and the weather was almost cloudy in the afternoon.
