Mangalore Diocese donates Rs one lakh

Diocese of Mangalore has donated a sum of Rs 1 lakh towards flood relief fund through the Deputy Commissioner on Tuesday 6th October 2009.

Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza has requested the people of Mangalore to come forward and donate in large number towards the fund.

Diocese of Mangalore has opened a Flood Relief Fund with the Mangalore Catholic Cyrian Bank. The account number is 2222660510190001.

Those willing to donate may send in their help to this account number said a press release from the diocese.

Diocese Public Relation Officer William Menezes, Fr Onil D’Souza and others handed over the cheque of Rs 1 lakh to the Deputy Commissioner V Ponnuraj.
