St. Aloysius College to go Green

The St. Aloysius College is launching the `Green, Clean and Plastic Free Campus' campaign here at its campus on Wednesday.

The inaugural function will be held at 12 noon by the principal Rev Fr. Swebert D'Silva. This campaign is organised to bring awareness among the students about the importance of cleanliness in the campus.

Students will assemble in front of the college with placards giving message to the students about the importance of a green campus. Later, the students will give out jute bags to those who use plastic bags. The objective of this campaign is to stop the use of plastic completely in the campus, the college release stated.
